Full Job Description

Proficient in navigating VSP and EYEMED systems for seamless benefit verification and billing processes, with expertise in handling various vision insurances.

A seasoned professional experienced in effectively selling high-end, quality eyewear, lenses, and contact lenses.

Additionally, brings valuable experience in another Optometry setting, showcasing versatility and a broad skill set.

Well-versed in leveraging social media platforms, particularly with an additional proficiency in Instagram, adding an extra layer to the skill set.

- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses

- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
- Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and lens coatings based on customers' needs and preferences
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Maintain inventory of eyewear and contact lenses
- Process insurance claims and verify insurance coverage for customers

```Skills```
- Strong knowledge of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses
- Familiarity with retail math systems for processing payments and transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Understanding of aseptic technique for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the optical area
- Experience working in a laboratory setting for lens preparation and customization
- Familiarity with ophthalmology terminology and procedures
- Ability to take accurate vital signs measurements, such as blood pressure and pulse rate
