Full Job Description

Job Title: Plant Manager (Hands-On / Multi-Facility)

Location: Houston, TX (100% On-Site)

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $115,000 – $145,000 Base Salary + 10-20% Performance Bonus Potential

Position Overview

We are actively seeking a hands-on Plant Manager that closely matches our culture to manage manufacturing operations and help improve our operations to set us in good position for upcoming growth.

The Plant Manager will direct all daily production, maintenance, and tool room functions across both our main production plant and our newly acquired investment casting foundry. This position focuses on build-ing stable tracking systems, improving daily production workflows, and leading a culture of constant improvement across both facilities. The individual in this role will take the time to learn about our existing op-erating systems and work closely with upper management to continuously refine and improve them. A core focus of this leadership role is to instruct, properly train, and ensure that all direct reports are fully capable and successfully performing their daily responsibilities.

What We Are Looking For

The "Trust but Verify" Mindset: A hands-on manager who has a deep understanding of the processes being managed and constructively leads and confirms that subordinates are executing their daily responsibilities.
Strong Manufacturing Background: Technical knowledge of precision machining, metal stamping, tooling and investment casting workflows.
Confident Leadership Capability: Someone capable of leading manufacturing supervisors and working with Administration, HR and Facility Maintenance to meet production objectives.

Quick Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
7+ years of manufacturing management experience, with a track record of problem solving and improving manufacturing operations and a hands-on floor management style .
Deep experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and establishing strict KPI baselines.
Strong manufacturing experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
Technical knowledge of CNC machining, metal stamping, tool room operations (tool and die), die casting, assembly lines, injection molding, investment casting, and production machining.
Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015 environment is a plus.
