Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead daily BOH operations while upholding the highest standards of execution, organization, cleanliness, and team leadership. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep management experience who understands Italian cuisine, cost control, and the importance of consistency within a multi-unit restaurant group.This position requires a leader who can execute systems, enforce standards, and maintain alignment across locations

Key Responsibilities

Lead all BOH operations during service, ensuring quality, speed, and consistency
Supervise, train, and manage all kitchen staff
Enforce all recipes, plating standards, portioning, and execution guidelines
Follow and uphold company-wide consistency standards across all menu items and procedures
Maintain strong organization, labeling, FIFO, and food safety practices
Execute and oversee prep lists, production systems, and daily pars
Actively manage food cost and labor cost, maintaining targets set by leadership
Monitor scheduling efficiency and staffing levels to control labor spend
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and variance control
Maintain daily cleanliness, deep-clean schedules, and sanitation logs
Train new hires and continuously develop existing team members
Communicate clearly and professionally with FOH and leadership
Assume full BOH responsibility in the absence of the Executive Chef
Hold the team accountable to performance, professionalism, and culture

Requirements

Kitchen management experience in professional restaurant environments
Hands-on experience with Italian cuisine
Proven experience controlling food cost and labor cost in a high-volume or multi-unit setting
Demonstrated ability to execute and enforce consistency standards
Fluent in both English and Spanish
Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Kitchen Manager, or equivalent leadership role
Strong understanding of kitchen systems, service flow, and production planning
Solid knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and systems-driven
Calm, confident leader able to manage teams under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
