Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Inside Pipe Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team specializing in pipe products and related solutions. In this dynamic role, you will drive business growth by managing key customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve sales targets through strategic planning, effective management, and a deep understanding of the pipe industry. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to influence our sales strategies and expand our market presence in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Duties

Lead and manage the inside sales team focused on pipe products, ensuring they meet or exceed sales goals through coaching, motivation, and performance management
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target B2B clients across various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure
Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities through outbound calls and marketing initiatives
Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze customer data, and identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that enhance product visibility and generate leads
Conduct technical sales consultations to explain product specifications, benefits, and applications to clients
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts effectively while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction
Oversee account management responsibilities by ensuring timely follow-up, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer service
Analyze sales metrics regularly to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement or expansion

Skills

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the pipe or related industries
Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing inside sales team
Expertise in business development strategies to grow existing accounts and acquire new clients
Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to foster long-term relationships
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for tracking sales activities and analyzing data trends
Solid understanding of marketing principles as they relate to product positioning and lead generation
Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, sales reports, and customer feedback for strategic decision-making
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and operational excellence
Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively convey technical information and negotiate deals
