Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Service Advisor and become the vital link between customers and our skilled technicians! In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service by guiding clients through their vehicle maintenance needs, explaining repair options clearly, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from start to finish. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help build lasting relationships, foster trust, and keep our service department running efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about automotive care.

Duties

Greet customers warmly upon arrival, listen actively to understand their vehicle concerns, and provide expert guidance on recommended services.
Explain repair procedures and estimates clearly, ensuring customers are well-informed about their options.
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, schedule appointments, and communicate updates to customers throughout the service process.
Manage service orders accurately, documenting customer information, vehicle details, and service history meticulously.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional questions or concerns.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of current automotive technologies, service promotions, and manufacturer guidelines to provide accurate advice.
Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in every customer interaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive service advising or a related customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in an understandable manner.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures; familiarity with dealership or independent shop operations is a plus.
Proficiency with computer systems for scheduling, estimating, and record keeping; experience with automotive management software is advantageous.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
