Full Job Description

Who We Are

Higher Accounting Services Corp. is an accounting and bookkeeping firm that believes in providing a client-centered experience for each of our clients. Our goal is to make each client feel like we are a part of their team.

Introduction to the team

We are an outsourced accounting provider committed to and delivering service excellence to entrepreneurs and privately owned service businesses.

Responsibilities:

Work with multiple clients in various industries
QuickBooks banking transactional downloads and bookkeeping maintenance,
Daily and monthly data entry and reconciliations with client review of general ledger,
Payroll support as needed,
Other bookkeeping activities as requested, including but not limited to downloading, coding and reconciling bank activity, assisting with Sales and Use tax or any other requested reporting and year end reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in accounting or related field preferred
Minimum of 4 years of related experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online required; Familiarity with Zoho Suite desired
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and creative problem solving
Outstanding organization and project management skills
Ability to take direction and execute
Pay based on experience; Minimum $30 hourly

Must have availability to work additional hours October 1 through November 22 for a client’s demanding season. This role is temporary with the potential to be ongoing.
