The Escambia County Clerk of Court and Comptroller is seeking a motivated Court Services Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to launch a rewarding career in public service while working in a professional, fast-paced environment that directly supports your community every day.

As a Court Services Assistant, you will be the friendly face and first point of contact for citizens, attorneys, and visitors — helping them navigate court services with professionalism and care while supporting essential office operations.

What You’ll Do

Greet and assist citizens, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer phones and respond to inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
Process payments and perform cashiering functions with precision.
Maintain records, files, and departmental documents.
Enter data and ensure all information is accurate and complete.
Assist with correspondence, forms, reports, and other administrative tasks.
Support daily office operations while following established policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Possess the ability to understand procedures that incorporate Florida statutory language.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an equivalency diploma; and
One (1) year of related clerical, administrative, customer service, cashiering, or office support experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
