Full Job Description

Pay: $18 to $19 per hour based on certifications. We are currently hiring caregivers with active PCA, HHA, or CNA certifications. You must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle, as you may travel between clients (mileage reimbursement provided). Please apply only if you live within a reasonable commuting distance of Loudoun County or Western Fairfax County and are willing to travel throughout our service area.

We proudly serve clients throughout Loudoun County and Western Fairfax, including Sterling, Ashburn, Leesburg, Herndon, Reston, Chantilly, Centreville, and surrounding areas.

Seeking Caregivers who:

Currently hold an active PCA, HHA, or CNA certification.
Are reliable, dependable, honest and caring
Speak, read, and write English
Have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle to travel to clients' homes.
Are willing to travel to clients throughout Loudoun County and Western Fairfax County, including Sterling, Ashburn, Leesburg, Herndon, Reston, Centreville, Chantilly, and surrounding areas.
Can work independently while following a client's care plan.
Are able to recognize changes in their clients' condition and alert the appropriate personnel when necessary.
Are punctual, professional, and committed to providing exceptional care.

Major Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate care and companionship in accordance with each client's care plan and service agreement.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, mobility, and other daily tasks.
Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands, as needed.
Complete 12 hours of required company provided training annually.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our service area and be willing to travel to clients throughout Loudoun County and Western Fairfax County.
Experience providing care in a home setting is highly preferred.
Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client.
Must pass all required background screenings, including a clean driving record.
Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day
Available to work an average of 20 to 40 hours per week.
Able to lift 20-30 pounds.
Caregivers are not allowed to smoke in clients’ homes
