Sales Engineer Job Description

Propersys Corporation is a newly established U.S. subsidiary of Taiwan Puritic Corp, founded in 1996. The company serves the constantly innovating semiconductor industry with high precision equipment, systems, and services. Delivering professional facility turnkey projects and system engineering services to the semiconductor fabrication industry are the company's specialties. Semiconductor leaders choose us to participate in their evolution and expansion because of our focus on high-quality production and clean execution. Propersys also specializes in providing the services for procurement and sales of consumable supplies and raw materials for hi-tech OEM/ODM semiconductor equipment. Propersys Corporation is rapidly growing and expanding and is now looking for a talented Sales Engineer to join our team. Sales Engineers are integral in bridging the gap between technical product features and customer needs. Their unique combination of sales and technical knowledge is essential for promoting and selling our advanced products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their technical needs and requirements.
Act as the primary technical liaison between the company and the client, providing support throughout the sales process.
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and tailored solutions to potential clients.
Show the technical advantages of the company’s products and services and how they meet the client's specific needs.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, troubleshooting issues, and addressing customer inquiries.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and develop solutions for customers.
Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and technical documentation, ensuring they meet the customer’s requirements.
Work with the sales team to ensure that all technical aspects of the proposal are clear and accurately reflect the product’s capabilities.
Help the sales team in closing deals by providing technical expertise during negotiations.
Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and tenders with detailed technical solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
Use market knowledge to help drive product improvements and refine sales strategies.
Continuously update technical skills and product knowledge to stay current with evolving industry standards.

Key Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Additional certifications or technical training in the relevant industry are a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience as a sales engineer, outside sales associate, or similar role, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
Strong understanding of the product or technology being sold.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, understandable terms for customers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical solutions.
Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of industry-specific tools, products, or software.
Bilingual in Mandarin and English.
A strong network of industry contacts.
Ability to travel depending on client needs.
