Full Job Description

Work Hours: Total hours per week will vary between 20 and 27 hours, with some flexibility in the time of day with the core hours between 9am and 4pm.

REPORTS TO: Senior Pastor (Head-of-Staff), Administrator

JOB PURPOSE: Works to support the efforts of staff, congregants, community, and missionpartners as we work to uphold the mission of the church.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works primarily with the Senior Pastor, the Church Administrator, the other church staff, and members on a variety of duties.

· Greet visitors and direct them to the correct location as needed.

· Answers phone calls and respond, or forwards emails as needed.

· Support church office operations, creating documents such as bulletins and

newsletters, maintaining member databases, assisting with printing, mailing, and filing.

· Assist with ordering church supplies and contacting vendors as needed to resolve issues.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Associate’s degree and/or customer service and office experience desired.

Windows based computer knowledge: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, etc.

Core Skills

· Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and active listening skills.

· Organization: Strong time management skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Teamwork and adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively, support a team-oriented office environment, and learn to use a variety of office equipment.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
