Full Job Description

Manthei Wood Products is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Administrative Assistant team member to assist our administrative staff and provide exceptional customer service to team members, visitors, and vendors. This role is essential to creating a welcoming and efficient office environment while supporting a wide range of administrative and employee engagement tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
Answer, transfer, and manage incoming phone calls with excellent customer service.
Provide administrative support to HR, Finance, and other departments with daily office operations, special projects, and employee support.
Maintain confidential personnel and business records in accordance with company policies.
Assist with data entry, filing, document management, and record retention.
Track employee call-ins, prepare anniversary cards, and manage company-issued cell phones.
Manage the company merchandise store, including inventory, ordering, and restocking.
Prepare and distribute the company newsletter, coordinating with staff and leadership.
Assist with company events, meetings, and employee engagement initiatives, including ordering lunches, setting up spaces, and coordinating logistics.
Maintain office pantries and common areas in a clean and organized manner.
Run business-related errands both off site and on the production floor.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Proficiency in computer applications and general office technology.
Prior administrative or office support experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds when needed.
