Full Job Description

Here's the Role:

Have a passion for negotiating contract terms and conditions? LCRA is looking for an experienced contract negotiator to join our Transmission Supply Chain team! This team member will coordinate closely with legal, procurement and project teams, and negotiate contract clauses and terms and conditions with suppliers for goods, services and construction.

How You’ll Contribute:

Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key team members.
Review and interpret redlines and negotiate contracts ranging from simple to sophisticated.
Analyze risks and provide contractual recommendations to minimize liability and protect LCRA’s interests.
Ensure contract compliance with government regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
Review, proofread and conform final contracts and coordinate contract execution.

How You’re Qualified:

Nine or more years of experience in procurement, contract administration, inventory management or other relevant experience.
A degree in business, supply management, economics, finance or other relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
