Water Damage Restoration Technician

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Water Damage Restoration Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water, flood, fire, and mold damage. In this energetic role, you will respond swiftly to emergency calls, assess damage, and execute comprehensive restoration processes to help clients recover their homes and businesses. Your proactive approach and dedication will ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional service throughout every project. This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills in the restoration industry while making a meaningful impact on our customers’ lives.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to emergency water, flood, fire, and mold incidents, demonstrating emergency response readiness at all times
Train to perform thorough assessments of affected areas using hand tools, power tools, moisture meters, and Encircle software for accurate damage documentation
Execute water extraction, drying, dehumidification, mold remediation, and fire restoration procedures following strict safety protocols
Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards
Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and other safety gear diligently during all restoration activities
Conduct cleaning tasks and debris removal to restore properties to pre-loss condition
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety compliance for each project

Experience

Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, flood restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is advantageous
Familiarity with hand/power tools enhances your effectiveness on the job
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations
Ability to work on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a dedicated emergency response team
Commitment to safety protocol adherence and proper PPE use in all work environments
