Summary

We are seeking an Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist with construction accounting experience to join our dynamic team in San Dimas. This role is crucial in managing our financial transactions and ensuring timely payments to vendors. You will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and support our mission of excellence in project delivery.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline payment processes.
Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as needed.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Stay updated on industry regulations affecting accounts payable.

Qualifications

1 year of proven experience in accounts payable in the construction industry.
An understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage & Procore).
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
Ability to reconcile accounts and manage financial discrepancies.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively.
