About the Job:

Yerecic Label is looking for print industry experience as either a Flexographic Press Operator or an Assistant Press Operator/Helper. Our family owned and operated label printing company provides labels to food and other consumer goods manufacturers. We offer a highly competitive pay scale, excellent benefits and the opportunity to grow as we expand our facility in Tolleson, AZ.

Yerecic Label is currently hiring for 3rd shift openings, our shift times are:

1st shift: 6 AM – 2:30 PM
3rd shift: 10 PM – 6:30 AM (Shift differential applies)

Pay:

Up to $28.50/hr dependent on experience in relevant print process and or equipment.

Essential Functions:

Retrieve all print cylinders and plates.
Mount plates and cylinders into the printing press, and fill print stations and monitor ink levels.
Load the flexographic press with rolls of material that is going to be printed on
Set up and operation of printing press to produce high quality labels that meet the customer’s specifications.
Monitor waste wind.
Work with team to achieve productivity and quality goals.
Comply with all documented procedures, workplace safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices within the area of responsibility.
Complete all required preventative maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and press.
Be a trainer and mentor to the finisher assigned to your press cell, through cross training.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

A high school diploma (preferred)
1+ years of flexographic or related printing experience.
Must lead by example.
Ability to work scheduled overtime.
Attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The team member is required to stand for their entire shift, bending and squatting frequently is also required.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and must have physical dexterity to use hand tools.
Repetitive actions that entail use of fingers, hands, arms and legs such as bending, stooping and lifting.
Regular requirements of safely lifting, pushing, pulling up to 40 lbs. and 60 lbs. occasionally.
Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, inspect parts and identify color. Cannot accommodate individuals that any level of color blindness.
