Mitigation & Restoration Project Manager

Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Job Type: Full-Time

About Us

We are a growing property restoration company serving residential and commercial clients throughout South Florida. We specialize in emergency mitigation, water damage, mold remediation, fire damage, storm response, and reconstruction coordination. Our team is committed to delivering quality workmanship, responsive communication, and an exceptional customer experience.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mitigation & Restoration Project Manager to oversee restoration projects from initial emergency response through completion. This position is responsible for coordinating field operations, communicating with customers and insurance representatives, managing documentation, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, solution-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage residential and commercial mitigation projects from start to finish.
Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
Conduct site inspections and develop project scopes.
Monitor drying progress and adjust mitigation plans as needed.
Ensure projects comply with company procedures and applicable industry standards.
Communicate regularly with customers, adjusters, property managers, and internal staff.
Review project documentation, photographs, moisture readings, and daily records for accuracy.
Track budgets, job costs, and project timelines.
Coordinate reconstruction handoffs when applicable.
Respond to emergency service calls as part of an on-call rotation.
Promote a safe work environment and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.

QualificationsRequired

Experience managing water mitigation and restoration projects.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and web-based software.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

Preferred

Experience with Xactimate.
Experience using moisture meters and restoration equipment.
IICRC certifications (such as WRT, ASD, AMRT, or FSRT).
Leadership or supervisory experience within the restoration industry.
