Full Job Description

The Front Desk Service Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Also assists in administrative aras.

Responsibilities:

 Register and assign rooms to guests. Process all check-ins and check-outs.

 Make and confirm reservations.

 Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge them.

 Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

 Maintain positive guest and interpersonal relations at all times.

 Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: a) Hotel features/services and hours of operation. b) Room rates, special packages and promotions. c) Daily hotel count and expected arrivals/departures.

 Answer telephone, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.

 Obtain back-up information from guest payment method and input into system; collect cash when designated.

 Handle overbooked or walked in guests.

 Monitor, send and distribute emails.

 Communicate pertinent guest information to designated personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery).

 Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.

 Assist in administrative tasks.

 Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate/Bachelor completed, or in progress (Office Systems or Business Administration)

Experience: 6 months in a hotel or customer service preferred.
Skills: Fully bilingual (written and spoken); Multitasked; Teamwork; Problem Solving; Marketing; Microsoft Office knowledge; attention to details; initiative; cooperation; honesty.

Others: Flexible schedule availability.
