Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers in performing examinations and procedures by preparing patients and equipment.
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
Provide patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff.
Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing electronic health records (EHR), and coding for billing purposes.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
Phlebotomy experience preferred
Stay current with basic life support protocols and maintain knowledge of physiology relevant to patient care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical terminology, coding systems, and patient service practices is advantageous.
Knowledge of vital signs assessment techniques and basic life support certification is required.
Experience working in clinical care settings is beneficial.
