Job Summary
As a Sous Chef, you will be the vital second-in-command in our dynamic culinary team, driving excellence in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation are consistently met across all dining experiences. Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient workflow.
Lead food production activities, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and food safety protocols.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to foster a motivated and cohesive team.
Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Coordinate menu planning and food preparation for various service types including fine dining, banquets, and catering events.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all kitchen activities.
Support food service management by maintaining quality standards during service hours and supervising staff performance during busy shifts.
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to implement innovative culinary ideas that enhance guest experience.
Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory levels, and safety inspections to ensure operational excellence.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a busy restaurant.
Extensive background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food service operations.
Strong banquet experience with the ability to coordinate large-scale events seamlessly.
Familiarity with fine dining standards and high-volume catering services.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety regulations is essential.
