Full Job Description

At St Andrews Memory Care, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, specialized care for individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Our mission is to create a secure, engaging, and supportive environment.

We are looking for an organized and empathetic Business Office Manager to oversee daily financial operations while assisting with various facility functions. The perfect fit will be someone who thrives in a team enviroment and is interested in helping our facility grow and flourish.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be the backbone of our community's administrative, financial, and personnel operations. You will manage billing, accounts payable/receivable, and facility payroll, while also partnering with our leadership team to recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier med techs and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

Business Office & Financial Management

Phones & Visitors: manage vendors and visitors and route incoming calls
Billing & Collections: Oversee resident billing, process invoices, and manage accounts receivable and payable.
Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate financial and administrative reports to the Executive Director.
Supplies & Vendor Management: Maintain appropriate office and facility supply levels; serve as the main point of contact for administrative vendors.

Human Resources & Staffing

Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with posting job openings, coordinate interviews, and assist with facilitating new-hire orientations.
Compliance: Ensure all employee records—including background checks, state-mandated training, CPR certifications, and health screenings—are fully compliant with state regulations.
Payroll & Benefits: Process payroll and assist staff with benefits enrollment and leave requests.
Employee Retention: Help foster a positive, supportive workplace culture for staff working in a challenging and rewarding memory care environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business office management, human resources, or healthcare administration.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in a senior living, assisted living, or RCF memory care facility is highly preferred.
Tech Skills: Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and healthcare billing/management software, PointClickCare.
Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a warm, compassionate demeanor when interacting with residents, families, and staff.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
