Full Job Description

Royal ReFresh is seeking a Director of Operations to help lead and strengthen the operations of our fast-growing company. This role is responsible for improving systems, developing people, driving operational excellence, and building the infrastructure necessary to support our next stage of growth.

This is a highly hands-on leadership position. The Director of Operations must be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution and learning the operational fundamentals of every department within the organization.

Because we are a growth company, priorities can change quickly. The successful candidate is adaptable, organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. They enjoy solving problems, implementing systems, and stepping into departments when needed to support the business and the team.

This position is ideal for a highly organized, hands-on leader who enjoys building systems, solving problems, and helping a growing company scale.

This is not a desk-based executive role. Success requires curiosity, accountability, strong follow-through, and the ability to execute both short-term priorities and long-term initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute operational plans that support company goals and future growth.
Oversee daily operations and employees. Direct reports include department managers and operational team members, with future oversight of Operations Managers and other leaders as the organization grows.
Develop a working knowledge of all operational departments and maintain the ability to support key functions when needed.
Build, develop, and lead a management team capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
Lead and execute company initiatives, technology implementations, and operational improvement projects.
Establish priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure deadlines and commitments are consistently met.
Oversee the operational functions of the business and develop policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maximize productivity.
Use data, reporting, and key performance indicators to drive operational decisions and accountability.
React to customer comments, suggestions, and concerns for the purpose of account retention and service excellence.
Recommend methods, resources, and implementation strategies for service improvements and growth based on operational needs and capabilities.
Ensure a safe working environment and communicate company safety policies and goals to employees.
Develop new skills and do what it takes to get the job done and make a positive impact for our employees and customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change and new responsibilities may be assigned without formal notice.
Partner with ownership on budgeting, strategic planning, organizational. development, and long-term initiatives, with the expectation of assuming increasing responsibility over time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated success leading managers and cross-functional teams in a growing operational environment is required.
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, software, and operational processes quickly.
Proven ability to lead through managers while also remaining engaged in the details of the business.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Proven track record of independently driving projects and achieving results.
Experience creating and managing budgets, financial controls, and operational analysis is preferred.
Experience developing managers, building systems, and leading growing organizations is preferred.
Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and support staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software, including the ability to analyze data, develop reports, create presentations, and effectively manage projects and operational information.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good motor vehicle record.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
