We are currently seeking two skilled culinary professionals to join our team:

Daytime Prep Cook
PM Line Cook

Position 1: Daytime Prep Cook (Morning Shift)

Schedule: Early morning start – approximately 2:00 PM finish
Flexibility: Scheduling flexibility available

Role Overview

This position is the foundation of our kitchen’s success. You’ll be responsible for executing precise prep work that directly impacts the quality and consistency of our service each night.

Key Responsibilities

Execute daily prep lists with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain strict organization and cleanliness standards
Prepare sauces, stocks, proteins, and mise en place to spec
Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols
Work collaboratively with chefs to ensure readiness for service

Ideal Candidate

Detail-oriented and highly organized
Strong knife skills and foundational culinary technique
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Takes pride in consistency and craftsmanship

Position 2: PM Line Cook (Service Shift)

Schedule: 2:00 PM – approximately 10:00 PM

Role Overview

As a line cook at Satay Bistro, you will be executing dishes at a high level during service. This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role where timing, communication, and execution are everything.

Key Responsibilities

Execute menu items with precision during service
Maintain station organization and cleanliness at all times
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and expo
Ensure proper plating, temperature, and timing standards
Assist with light prep and station setup

Ideal Candidate

Experience in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen preferred
Strong understanding of cooking techniques and timing
Calm under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
Team-oriented with a professional mindset
