Full Job Description

Our client, boutique tax law firm specializing in corporate, business, and tax advisory services is seeking an experienced Tax Lawyer to join its growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who enjoys providing strategic tax guidance, advising clients on complex matters, and working in a collaborative professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide legal counsel on federal, state, and local tax matters.

· Advise businesses and individuals on tax planning, compliance, and risk management.

· Conduct legal research and analyze tax laws and regulations.

· Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to tax matters.

· Represent clients before tax authorities, when applicable.

· Collaborate with internal professionals to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

· Stay current with changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and admission to practice law in Puerto Rico.

· 5+ years of experience practicing tax law.

· Strong knowledge of tax legislation, legal research, and regulatory compliance.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple client matters while meeting deadlines.

· Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Pay: $2.00 - $3.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
