Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Client Success Team Manager is responsible for the overall success of assigned customer accounts and programs. This role serves as the primary owner of the customer relationship while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed safely, accurately, on time, and profitably.

The Client Success Team Manager leads execution rather than performing every administrative task. This position focuses on planning, customer communication, risk management, decision-making, and continuous improvement while leveraging specialized support roles for estimating, project configuration, customer support, and reporting.

The Client Success Team Manager is accountable for customer success, operational execution, and financial performance across their portfolio of accounts.

Essential Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts by building long-term relationships, leading customer onboarding and implementation, conducting business reviews, managing expectations, resolving issues and escalations, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Lead the planning and execution of customer programs by developing project timelines and priorities, coordinating activities across Sales, Operations, Inventory, Production, Quality, Finance, Shipping, and other internal teams, managing scope changes, mitigating risks, balancing multiple customer priorities, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within customer expectations.
Manage the financial performance of assigned accounts by reviewing estimates, monitoring budgets and profitability, approving change orders, reviewing invoices for billing accuracy, and identifying opportunities to improve margins while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Lead cross-functional teams by removing obstacles to successful execution, driving accountability across departments, mentoring Project Coordinators and other team members, and promoting a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Continuously improve customer and operational performance by identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience, improving internal workflows and documentation, standardizing repeatable processes, participating in ERP and system improvements, and capturing lessons learned from completed projects.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Five or more years of project management, account management, operations management, or supply chain experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong financial and analytical skills.
Proficiency with ERP, WMS, CRM, and Microsoft Office applications.
