Summary

We are seeking an Office Manager to join our dynamic team at Benihana. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant's administrative functions while supporting our staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Located in a vibrant environment, you will play a key role in maintaining organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for staff.
Handle data entry tasks and maintain accurate records of office activities.
Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and maintain financial records.
Support staff with clerical duties, including proofreading documents and managing correspondence.
Organize office supplies and ensure a well-maintained front desk area.
Do banking as needed.
Checking daily order delivery as needed.
Open the restaurant at 7am for cleaning crew to clean the restaurant.
Do new employee boarding and fill out HR folders for new hire.
Follow up on employees paperwork for unemployment and lor department disputes.
Follow up on credit card disputes.
Do monthly bank and credit card statements reconciliation.
Enter weekly invoices and pay invoices.

Requirements

Proven experience in an office management or administrative role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks with attention to detail.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
