Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that patients receive respectful, personalized support that promotes their health, comfort, and dignity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner
Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support
Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and wound care in compliance with infection control protocols
Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care across acute care units like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers and in outpatient or post-acute settings
Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure the confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA standards

Experience

Prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, PICU), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient information
Experience providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is advantageous
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care procedures
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as Phlebotomy or DME training are a plus
Familiarity with infection control practices including aseptic technique and handling infectious diseases enhances your effectiveness in this role
