Full Job Description

No one is underappreciated at Zook Interiors. We work hard to provide an environment where apprentices can learn and grow to their full potential. Along with growth, a primary function under this role is to support the foreman or trainer in the completion of the project at hand.

Responsibilities:

Learn to construct, install, and repair projects, using Metal Stud Framer/Hanger/Finisher hand tools and power tools.
Learn to follow blueprints and specifications.
Prepare or assist with layout, using lasers, squares, chalk lines, etc.
Work in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.
Clean work areas and equipment to maintain a safe and organized job site.
Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers, management, and customers.
Help complete the project on time, within budget, and ensure job quality.

Job Requirements:

Ability to learn the types of materials, methods of construction, and the tools involved in metal stud framing, hanging, and finishing.
Drug-free at all times.
Valid photo license or State ID.
