Job Overview

Menco Electric is a commercial electrical contracting company. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Administrator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will support our team’s productivity. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and excels at multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Support bookkeeping activities with basic financial record keeping and invoice processing using QuickBooks Online
Handle collections and follow-up on past-due accounts
Enter payroll and accounts payable
Reconcile credit card and bank statements
Prepare and file sales tax
Provide customer service and maintain accurate records
Write and send quotes
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
Pull permits and assist with project documentation
Oversee office management tasks such as supply ordering, inventory control, and maintaining office equipment
Manage correspondence and clerical duties like proofreading documents and preparing reports

Skills

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
Exceptional phone etiquette skills and client communication
Previous office management or administrative experience in a construction setting is preferred
Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
