Full Job Description

Mortgage Funder

Job Type: Full-Time I Remote

About the Job, and Our Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mortgage Funder able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. This position is responsible for handling loans at Closing, review executed loan closing documents, collect Prior To Funding Conditions, balance, and order the Funding Wire. This is a full-time, remote position.

Compensation: $48,000 - $60,000 base, plus incentive bonus

Responsibilities:

Process executed loan closing documents post-closing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Review Title Commitments and determine required documentation for clear title issuance.
Access and evaluate tax materials via government websites, and complete Lender’s Tax Information Affidavit.
Monitor loan pipeline to ensure timely funding and disbursement.
Communicate effectively with closing/settlement agents to obtain necessary documents and resolve deficiencies.
Ensure loan proceeds are sent and received in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal teams (Loan Consultants, Underwriters, Closers) to meet closing conditions.
Maintain compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
3+ years of experience in mortgage, title, or related financial services.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Encompass required.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
