Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Organizer to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bring creative visions to life, ensuring each event is memorable, seamless, and exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and possess a passion for delivering outstanding member and guest experiences. This paid position provides a chance to develop your expertise in event management while working to create impactful occasions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Executive Director to understand event objectives, expenses, and requirements
Establish contracts with venues, caterers, entertainment providers, and other vendors to secure the best terms and services after consulting with Executive Director
Coordinate all aspects of event setup, including catering arrangements, décor, audiovisual needs
Maintain detailed records of contracts, vendor contacts, and post-event evaluations

Skills

Skills with the ability to secure favorable terms from vendors
Proven experience in event planning and management across various types of events such as banquets and conferences
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive member and guest experiences
Effective time management to handle projects under deadlines
Communication skills for liaising with vendors, members, and guests
Organizational skills that ensure all details are meticulously planned and executed
Familiarity with catering operations or event venue settings is advantageous
Ability to coordinate catering services and oversee venue arrangements efficiently
