About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Creative Director with a background in AI-driven content creation to lead the creative vision for commercial, narrative, and branded content.
This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, filmmaking, and emerging AI technologies. You'll work closely with writers, producers, AI artists, editors, and VFX teams to transform scripts into executable creative plans that leverage the latest generative tools while maintaining a cinematic, production-ready standard.
We're not looking for someone who simply knows AI tools—we're looking for someone who understands how to direct with AI.

What You'll Do

Translate scripts into compelling visual concepts, shot design, and production strategies.
Develop creative treatments, mood boards, visual references, and style frames.
Direct AI artists through every phase of production, from concept development to final delivery.
Build production-ready workflows using AI image and video generation tools.
Work with producers to scope projects based on creative requirements and production timelines.
Collaborate with editors, compositors, and VFX artists to ensure creative consistency.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine where they fit into production pipelines.
Provide creative feedback that balances artistic vision with technical feasibility.
Help establish best practices for AI-assisted storytelling and production.

What We're Looking For

Creative Direction

Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual storytelling.
Experience directing commercial, film, television, or branded content.
Deep understanding of cinematography, composition, lighting, pacing, and visual language.
Ability to communicate creative vision clearly to multidisciplinary teams and clients.

AI Production Experience

Hands-on experience using generative AI tools for production.
Understanding of prompt engineering beyond basic prompting.
Experience directing AI artists rather than simply generating images.
Familiarity with maintaining character consistency, shot continuity, and visual coherence across sequences.
Ability to determine which tools are appropriate for different creative challenges.

Client Communication & Leadership

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Comfortable presenting ideas to clients and leading creative discussions.
Ability to receive feedback professionally and translate it into actionable direction for the production team.
Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to creating a positive client experience.
Ability to manage expectations, communicate timelines, and build client confidence throughout the production process.

Technical Understanding / Experience with some combination of:

Flux
ComfyUI
Midjourney
Runway
Kling
Seedance
Veo
Stable Diffusion
Adobe Creative Suite
Traditional VFX or 3D workflows (a plus)
Ensure all projects adhere to brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries through layout design, color theory application, typography mastery, and art direction.
Coordinate print production processes including print advertising and print design projects to guarantee quality control from proofing to final output.
Oversee web design initiatives involving HTML and CSS integration alongside video production and editing workflows for multimedia content delivery.
Maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while managing multiple large-scale creative projects simultaneously.
Stay current with industry trends in digital design, video editing, photography, and emerging technologies to continually enhance creative output.

Skills

Extensive experience in digital design, marketing campaigns, and visual storytelling with a strong portfolio demonstrating innovative work across multiple media types.
Proficiency in Figma, InVision for prototyping; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign for graphic creation; Sketch for layout design; and Adobe Creative Suite as a whole.
Deep understanding of typography design for media including print advertising and digital platforms; expertise in color theory and branding principles.
Proven leadership skills managing graphic design teams as an art director or creative lead; ability to inspire creativity while maintaining project discipline.
Strong background in print design and print production processes ensuring high-quality physical outputs.
Knowledge of web design fundamentals including HTML and CSS; experience with video production workflows such as editing and post-production editing tools.
Skilled in managing large-scale creative projects from inception through execution with excellent organizational abilities.
Excellent communication skills to articulate visual concepts clearly across teams and stakeholders; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Passionate about staying ahead of industry trends in graphic design, visual design technology innovations, photography techniques, branding strategies, and multimedia content creation.
