Full Job Description

At Alperstein & Associates, LLC our attorneys defend you against both national, regional, and local creditor companies. In the event you need an experienced attorney, we are on your side to defend you from those creditors and help you resolve your debt. Our team will guide your through all options for putting debt behind you. This will help you make an informed decision and select the solution that best fits your financial parameters.

Job description

We are seeking a licensed attorney in Washington State to join our established national law firm as a remote of-counsel attorney. The ideal candidate will be focused on assisting consumer clients enrolled within debt resolution programs and have experience in debt collection lawsuitsconsumer law. This position is perfect for a solo practitioner or part-time attorney who wants to generate additional income while maintaining autonomy and flexible hours.

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate in good standing with the Washington state bar is a must
Proficiency using video conferencing software
Proficiency in customer relations

Duties include:

Review Review new client files as assigned, and conduct t initial client consultation and onboarding calls via video conference
Conduct regular client file reviews and telephonic meetings with retained clients on a quarterly and annual basis, and conduct exit interviews with clients who leave the program
Review and analyze all settlements on behalf of assigned clients
Answer all legal questions clients have throughout the duration of our representation
Strict adherence to timeliness requirements concerning assigned tasks, file review, and client consultations
Availability outside of standard business hours may be required to accommodate client schedules
Continual monitoring of electronic dashboard for new assignments including client intake, file reviews, and settlement reviews, and completing them promptly per the time requirements
Adhere to the Firm’s client intake script and talking points concerning frequently asked questions
Issue spotting, such as understanding when a client's debts do not comply with Firm underwriting policy, or when a client’s debts may be impacted by the statute of limitations or right of offset issues
Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with other attorneys to discuss recent trends, specific creditor issues, and any other relevant topics
Assist with client escalations questions and client requests as needed in a timely manner
