Full Job Description

** All work is done 100% REMOTE ** Candidates MUST meet NRC or DOE requirements **

ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE'S:

RECENT commercial nuclear work/experience
Experience with Small Modular Reactor or Advance Reactor designs
Knowledge & understanding of generating station power upgrades including necessary system protection/system stability and relaying.

NOTE FROM HIRING MANAGER:

The work is mainly I&C but some broader EE design would help as well

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited school.
8-10+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
Proven track record in electrical design and analysis in electrical power distribution, including application to nuclear plants.
In depth knowledge and experience of use of appropriate codes and standards, as applied to nuclear plant and conventional plants.
Experience in project management and interfacing with and coordinating activities of multi-disciplinary teams.
Familiarity with rigorous engineering change control processes and application of QA programs.
Good working knowledge of basic generation plant design/operation related to Nuclear power plants, skid-based designs, or international power projects.
P.E. designation highly preferred.
Good time management skills and demonstrated capability to interface effectively with and gain the trust of customers.
