Become a VTuber on Japan's #1 VTuber live-streaming app — now hiring US and Canada-based streamers.

IRIAM is the top VTuber live-streaming app in Japan, with over 10,000 streamers going live every day. In 2025, we launched in North America, and we're building our next wave of US and Canada-based streamers to grow with us.

If you love anime, VTuber culture, or Japanese entertainment — and you want to stream on the same platform Japanese VTubers use — this is for you.

Through our Debut Support Program, we bring the Japanese VTuber experience directly to you, including a custom anime-style character illustration created just for you, at no cost. Choose from pre-made designs or collaborate with professional artists to bring your own original character to life. IRIAM covers all illustration costs.

Please note: This is a commission-based opportunity. You earn from viewer gifting (tips from your audience), not a fixed hourly wage. You can start earning from day one with no minimum followers or conditions required. The hourly range shown on Indeed is a required field — actual earnings vary by streamer.

What You'll Do

Stream live as a VTuber on the IRIAM app using just your smartphone
Chat with viewers, entertain your audience, and build your community
Represent the next wave of US VTubers on a Japan-born platform

What We're Looking For

Based in the United States or Canada
Comfortable speaking English on stream (bilingual JP/EN a plus, not required)
Able to stream at least 30 hours per month
18+ years old
Interested in anime, VTuber culture, or Japanese entertainment

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with anime, cosplay, or Japanese pop culture communities
Voice acting, singing, podcasting, or performing background
Active social media presence (TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, Instagram)
Any Japanese language ability (fun bonus, not required)

No VTuber experience needed. If you love anime or Japanese culture and enjoy entertaining an audience, you're a great fit.

This is not a salaried position or a one-time acting role. You'll be creating your own VTuber identity and streaming regularly on IRIAM. Your income grows with your audience through viewer gifting.
