Full Job Description

Role & Company Overview

Construction is one of the largest industries in the U.S and it still runs on word of mouth, group texts, and lead-gen companies that sell the same homeowner to 10 other contractors at once. Contractors know it's broken. They've told us, on thousands of calls.

HeyPros is building the fix.

We're one of the first credible platforms where a contractor gets both sides of their revenue pipeline in one place — homeowners looking for work done, and general contractors and construction companies looking for those same contractors to staff their projects. Nobody has made that combination work at national scale before. Most platforms pick one side and stay there.

That's the difference you'll be selling. A contractor who signs up isn't buying another lead list — they're getting residential demand and commercial demand from the same subscription. It's a genuinely easier pitch than anything else in this category, because you're not asking them to believe in one more lead vendor. You're offering them something they haven't been offered before.

We're adding 200 to 500 contractors every month, and the platform gets more valuable to every contractor on it each time that number goes up. The reps joining now are the ones building that momentum — and the ones who'll be running this team when it's ten times the size.

You'll be talking to people who build things for a living, who work hard, and who have been let down by every tool that promised to help them grow. Closing them isn't just a sale. It's putting a better option in the hands of people who deserved one a long time ago.

Base: $1,300 USD/month, paid regardless of performance.
Realistic earnings: Month 1, most reps land around $2,500 - 2, 800 total. Month 2, above $3,000. Month 3, reps hitting target are above $3,500. Top performers earn more through one-time and quarterly bonuses. Commissions are uncapped. So this opportunity for top performers can easily become well above $4,500 - $5,000.
Volume: 150–200 dials per day. This is a phone job. If you don't want to be on the phone all day, stop here.
Hours: contractors are ready to chat anytime starting at 8am and until 7pm, Monday–Friday. Weekends are encouraged as that's where majority of the opportunity happens because they are not at work.
Language: Fluent English and conversations Spanish.
Location: Remote, anywhere in Latin or South America. You will sell only to US-based construction companies.

What we sell

HeyPros is a marketplace that connects US general contractors with the subcontractors they need. We're adding 200–500 contractors a month. You'll be selling monthly, annual, and custom subscriptions to subcontractors — small business owners who are on jobsites, not at desks.

What the day looks like

You dial contractors from a list we provide and also allow you to source your own leads for additional pay. Most won't answer. The ones who do give you 90 seconds to be worth their time. You find out what they've tried for leads, what went wrong, and why they're still looking — then you close them on that same call whenever there's a fit. You log everything in HubSpot and you follow up relentlessly with the ones who say yes and then disappear.

Your ramp

We don't expect month-three numbers in week one. Here's the actual progression:

Day 1 and 2: Training, shadowing live calls, learning the script. Target: 3 closings in the first working week.
Weeks 2-4: Full dial volume. Target: 1 closing per day. By end of month 1 the requirement is to close 35.
Month 2: 50+ closings
Month 3 and beyond: 4–10 deals/day depending on the week.

What we give you

A tested sales script built from real call analysis, not a generic template.
A dialer and a maintained HubSpot instance — you're not hunting for phone numbers.
Weekly call reviews and one-on-one coaching directly with the sales manager. You will get specific feedback and you will get better fast.
Direct access to leadership. This is a small team; what you learn on calls changes the product and the pitch.
Room to grow. The reps joining now are the ones who will lead this team.

Who does well here

1–5 years of outbound phone sales, ideally to contractors, trades, home services, or other small business owners.
Comfortable asking for payment on the first call. This is a closing role, not appointment setting.
Takes coaching without getting defensive. Your calls will be reviewed weekly.
Steady under rejection. Contractors don't answer, don't call back, and say yes then vanish. That's the job, not a bad day.
Keeps a clean CRM without being reminded.

Who doesn't

Anyone who needs a warm pipeline handed to them.
Anyone who wants a low-volume, long-cycle consultative sale.
Anyone who needs their guaranteed pay to be the majority of their income. The base is real, but the upside is where this role pays.

Traits required for success:

Coachability

This person must take feedback without getting defensive and must be willing to change quickly. Calls will be reviewed, scorecards will be used, and weak habits will be corrected directly.

Quick adaptation on live calls

No two contractor calls are the same. The rep must think on their feet, adjust tone fast, and respond well when the prospect is distracted, skeptical, rushed, or irritated.

Resilience

Contractors often do not answer, do not reply when they said they would, and do not sign up even after a positive conversation. The right hire does not get emotionally thrown off by that reality and keeps working the process with consistency.

Strong discovery instincts

The rep must know how to uncover pain instead of jumping into a pitch. The best calls revolve around what the contractor has tried, what failed, what they are frustrated by, and why they are still open to something new.

Closing confidence

This role is not for passive appointment setters. The rep must be comfortable asking for payment, asking for commitment, and bringing the conversation to a decision while the contractor is engaged

Process discipline

Must keep the CRM clean, complete follow-ups, and work inside a measurable system every day.

Background preferred

1 to 5 years of outbound sales experience.
Experience selling to contractors, home service businesses, trades, or other small business owners is strongly preferred
Experience in SaaS, lead generation, recruiting, staffing, construction tech, or high-volume phone sales is a plus
Comfortable working in a remote environment with daily accountability.
English fluency required.
Spanish fluency is required.
Portuguese is a nice to have.

This is a contractor position at first and can turn into an employee opportunity in the future.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
