Duties

Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and telemarketing campaigns, to promote insurance products and services
Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to identify client requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions
Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring clarity and mutual agreement while maintaining compliance with industry regulations
Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and following up on policy renewals
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining coverage options, and assisting clients throughout the sales process
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones
Maintain thorough knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or financial services industry
Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable
Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs and develop customized insurance plans
Familiarity with sales administration processes and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Ability to effectively market insurance products through various channels while adhering to regulatory standards
Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement
Knowledge of benefits administration and marketing strategies related to insurance services
Multilingual capabilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse client populations
