Full Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to accelerate their construction career while gaining valuable experience in project management, client communication, and operational coordination.

As an Assistant Project Manager you will:

Work side-by-side with experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, learning how successful projects are planned, managed, and delivered from start to finish
Take ownership of key project responsibilities, including subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement tracking, and project documentation
Gain valuable experience managing project budgets and costs, assisting with forecasting, billing, contract administration, and financial reporting

Requirements of this Assistant Project Manager role:

5+ years’ experience on large ground-up commercial and mixed-use projects
At least one multifamily, affordable-housing or senior-living project preferred
Industry related degree preferred
Effective leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate
Have established subcontractor relationships
Ability to collaborate with subcontractors, build schedules and perform effective value engineering
Proficiency in Procore, Excel, MS project and other construction software
Design review and interpretation skillset
