Full Job Description

Entry-Level Marketing & Communications Coordinator

We are looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic entry-level marketing professional to join our team and help expand the reach and impact of our organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, social media, and working across a variety of marketing projects.

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will support our newsletters, impact program, website, marketing, books and files along with social media efforts. The right candidate is a strong communicator, eager to learn, comfortable juggling multiple projects, and excited about helping share our mission and work with a broader audience.

Key Responsibilities

Newsletters: Help create, write, edit, and distribute regular newsletters and email communications.
Impact Program: Support communications and marketing efforts related to our impact program.
Website: Make routine website updates, including adding and editing content, updating events and resources, and ensuring information is current.
Book Marketing: Help develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote our books, including coordinating promotional materials, online outreach, and social media.
Social Media: Create and schedule engaging social media content, monitor engagement, and help grow our online presence. Assist with publishing across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and moderate the day-to-day comments, DM’s, and engagement.
Content Creation: Assist with writing and editing marketing materials, blog posts, announcements, and other communications.
Marketing Support: Assist with campaigns, projects, events, and other day-to-day marketing initiatives as needed.
Analytics: Help track basic website, email, and social media metrics and use the information to improve our communications.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, publishing, or a related field—or a strong academic/project background.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Comfortable using social media platforms and interested in digital marketing.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Basic familiarity with websites, email marketing, and digital content management.
Creative, curious, and willing to learn new tools and skills.
Interest in our mission and enthusiasm for helping tell our story.

Pay: $23.08 - $27.00 per hour
