GEE has manufacturing capabilities across multiple categories and strives to be innovation and thoughtful in all product development for fans!

Great Eastern Entertainment is looking for an Accounting Office Assistant to support the accounting and sales teams and other members of the accounting team with day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational and time management skills, and experience working successfully in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include daily communication with internal and external partners, accounting worksheets and general sales information. The assistant will maintain and complete files/records as needed, assist with accounts payable and receivable duties, and provide general administrative support to management team and accounting department personnel. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. Applicants with experience and familiarity in a similar role are strongly encouraged to apply. Speaking and/or writing Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

Communication with overseas manufacturers
Must speak/write Chinese for quotations and costing
Assist with daily office activities and paperwork-flow.
Reporting and Analytics: Run the licensor sales report monthly and quarterly for finance, ensuring GEE provides accurate reports/payments to licensors.
Partner with merchandising and planning on submitting the forecasting templates for the licensors accurately and on time.
Assist in reconciliation of accounts, collections, monthly reports, and orders.
Must be organized and provide accurate record keeping, filing, and storing.
Must be willing to investigate and resolve all billing inquiries, order status and manufacturing quotations.
Assists with accounts receivable, including outbound calls to customers with a past due balance for collection to company standards.
Provides professional phone/email interactions with all customers.
Processes customer requests for service, complaints, inquiries, and new customer set-up.
Prepare various reports for partners as needed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, other ongoing duties

Skills

Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
EDI experience preferred but not necessary
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) preferred but not necessary
Strong organization skills
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field preferred
Speaking and/or writing Chinese is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
