Full Job Description

We're looking for Med techs to join our Care Team!

Medication Technicians* ($19.00)

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed
Ensure clients receive their medication on time
Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
Assist in meal preparation/presentation, serving to residents, and other dining related responsibilities, record and report changes in resident's eating habits to the supervisor.
Record and report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor including but not limited to changes in resident's ability to perform activities of daily living, skin changes, bruising, etc.
Daily follow up on bath schedules and vital signs (blood pressure, weight, and respiration, etc.)
Immediately report all incidents or accident involving residents to the Resident
Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls, and requests from family and friends.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year of relevant experience as a Med Tech
Med Tech certification.
Possess or be able to obtain valid CPR certification.
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to speak, read, and understand English.
Applicants should be committed to health and safety standards, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude.
Well-organized and reliable.
Physical stamina is necessary to perform job duties.
Experience with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting) required.
Hoyer lift experience required.

Work Schedule:

Assisted Living

Thursday: 6am-2pm
Friday & Saturday: 2pm-10pm
Sunday: 6am-2pm

Memory Care

Sunday: 2pm-10pm with experience with dementia
