Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Packager to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specified standards and procedures. Your work will ensure that products are safely and efficiently prepared for distribution, maintaining high quality and safety standards throughout the process. This position offers an engaging environment where your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will contribute directly to our operational success.

Responsibilities

Operate packaging equipment and materials handling tools to efficiently package products in accordance with manufacturing standards and procedures
Interpret production documents, including work orders and packaging instructions, to ensure correct assembly and packaging of items
Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging machinery and perform basic maintenance or escalate as needed
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and safety standards to maintain compliance during all packaging activities
Utilize industrial equipment such as forklifts and material handling equipment safely within warehouse operations
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including documentation related to packaging processes and quality checks

Skills

Knowledge of manufacturing facility operations, including GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards in production environments
Experience operating packaging equipment, hand tools, forklifts, and material handling machinery
Mechanical troubleshooting skills with industrial equipment and assembly experience
Ability to interpret manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documents accurately
Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality assessments during packaging processes
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, materials handling, and inventory management practices
Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and assembly techniques
