Texas State Oil is a Fort Worth-based oil & gas company.

We're hiring immediately for someone to run point on capital partnerships and networking for senior leadership. Direct line to leadership, real autonomy, real upside, and the job changes shape depending on what the week needs. It's a fast paced, hybrid, generalist role.

MINIMUM: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics required.

Oil & gas background preferred, not required.

What You'll Do

Own our capital-partner pipeline end to end — sourcing, intros from your own network, follow-through, and getting deals/partnerships in front of company executives.
Move fluidly between deal support, investor outreach, event/network planning, CRM hygiene, managing leadership's calendar/communications — priorities shift day to day and you shift with them
Coordinate & schedule networking events, industry conferences, and investor meetups to keep the pipeline fed
Build and deliver regular updates directly to our senior leadership
CRM Savvy is a must
Involved in projects across deal flow, fundraising, and operations as they come up this role is defined by what needs doing, not a fixed task list.
Handle confidential financial and investor information with discretion

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or relevant field.
An adaptable generalist moving between strategic and administrative work without treating either as beneath you, and you don't wait to be told which one comes next
Already know HOW to network and come with an existing book of business or an established network of investor/industry contacts.
Fast learner, thick-skinned, comfortable with ambiguity and a shifting task list
Strong personality — confident on the phone and in person, not just on paper. You have to have a strong and likable personality for this role.
Oil & gas / energy exposure is a plus not a requirement
