Full Job Description

Overview:
We are a well-established and growing company looking for a true Full-Charge Bookkeeper who can independently own the entire accounting function with little to no supervision. This is the perfect role for a seasoned bookkeeper who desires autonomy and takes pride in delivering perfect books every month.

Responsibilities:

Full-cycle A/P and A/R (vendor bills, customer invoicing, collections)
Payroll processing for employees
Bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations
Monthly close process and preparation of full financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actual)
Sales tax, use tax, and business property tax filings
Year-end close and preparation of schedules for external CPA/tax preparer
Maintaining internal controls and recommending process improvements

Required Experience & Skills:

5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience (must have handled everything above with minimal oversight)
Advanced QuickBooks proficiency
QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
Strong GAAP knowledge
Microsoft Excel proficiency
Experience producing accurate financials that external CPAs rely on
Ability to spot discrepancies and investigate/root-cause issues quickly
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external personnel
Degree or coursework in Accounting preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
