Full Job Description

General Front Office Assistant/Secretary needed for our Rockford, IL service location.

Part-time immediate positions starting hours of:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, OR
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Must be flexible to work any hours between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for the first 90 days of employment.

The work hours will be Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, after the 90-day introductory period.

The ideal candidate will need to be flexible to work until 5:00 pm if needed during the first 90 days, and after the initial trial period ends.

Job duties to include general office tasks: filing, typing, data entry, answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, receiving applications, light bookkeeping, providing secretarial and office assistant tasks to managers within the office, running errands, interviewing & employment screening tasks, record-keeping, tidying up, and various other general office duties.

Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

Prior experience with MS Office, QuickBooks, Scheduling, and/or having held prior Bookkeeping, Secretarial, Admin-Assistant, or Clerical positions is preferred.
The ability to multitask is a must.
Great organizational skills are a must.
Must be knowledgeable of the appropriate usage of grammar and punctuation, and be familiar with business letter and/or forms preparation.
Must be detail-oriented and be able to complete tasks without regular oversight/supervision.
Must be able to complete tasks with either written or verbal instructions.
Must be able to successfully work alone and/or independently to complete your tasks with only verbal or written instructions.

We are looking for candidates who are friendly & courteous with positive/cheerful personalities.

These positions will be responsible for:

Daily office operations and greeting visitors, interacting with customers & employees regularly.
Must be comfortable with working alone in an office environment.
Must be familiar with the use of apps, smartphones, tablets, and computers.
