*Experience in Underground Wet Utility Project Management REQUIRED*

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager specializing in Underground Wet Utilities to lead and coordinate complex infrastructure projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of underground utility installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Join our team to drive impactful projects that enhance community infrastructure and demonstrate your expertise in managing heavy civil construction initiatives.

Duties

Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of underground wet utility projects, including water, sewer, stormwater, and related infrastructure.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications and schematics are accurately interpreted and implemented.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other industry tools to develop detailed project schedules and budgets.
Manage project teams on-site and off-site, ensuring effective communication, safety compliance, and adherence to construction regulations.
Oversee construction schedule coordination to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards; monitor progress through regular site inspections and updates.
Control project costs through diligent budget management, change order processing, and resource allocation.
Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and regulatory documents to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
Facilitate project meetings, document progress reports, and maintain comprehensive records of all project activities.
Ensure construction site safety protocols are followed diligently to protect personnel and assets throughout project duration.

Experience

Proven experience managing complex underground wet utility or heavy civil infrastructure projects from inception through completion.
Strong background in construction scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar software; adept at coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, cost management, contract administration, and regulatory compliance within the civil engineering sector.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role—leading subcontractors, engineers, inspectors—and fostering collaboration.
Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, Civil 3D, HeavyBid; familiarity with schematic reading and blueprint interpretation.
Solid understanding of construction site safety practices and environmental regulations related to underground utilities.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Construction site experience with a focus on underground utilities installation—reading schematics accurately and managing field operations efficiently.
