Overview
San Antonio Kidney is seeking an experienced, motivated, highly organized, and patient-focused Clinic Manager to lead operations at our South San Antonio clinics. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations, supporting physicians and staff, driving operational excellence, and ensuring an exceptional experience for patients and team members alike. As a Clinic Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, manage financial and operational aspects, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and compliance. Your energetic approach will drive efficiency, foster a positive work environment, and support the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
Lead, mentor, and develop front-office and clinical staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and patient care.
Ensure staff maintain required certifications, licenses, and training.

Clinic Operations

Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional customer service.
Develop and implement workflows that improve productivity and patient satisfaction.
Monitor office opening and closing procedures.
Manage office and medical supply inventory and maintain appropriate PAR levels.
Assist with reporting, data collection, and operational improvement initiatives.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

Monitor daily collections, charge passing, and financial reconciliation processes.
Assist with budget management and payroll approval.
Ensure accurate reporting and operational metrics tracking.
Support organizational initiatives and performance goals.

Compliance & Quality

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
Maintain OSHA logs and regulatory documentation.
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Train staff on EMR/Practice Management systems and clinic workflows.

Qualifications

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred

LVN License or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Previous clinic management experience.
Experience with EMR and Practice Management systems.
CPR Certification.
