Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper & administrative assistant to support our financial operations and day-to-day office functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring the office runs efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both finance and office operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including vendor invoices, payments, and client billing.
Conduct regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly financial reports for management review
Assist with payroll processing and related tax compliance activities, as needed
Support office operations, including filing, scheduling, correspondence, and supply management
Assist with budgeting and financial planning tasks
Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, coordination, and light project assistance
General Coordination: Assist management with scheduling, light project coordination, and other administrative tasks as they arise.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a combined accounting and administrative role
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
Solid understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
Experience with payroll processing is preferred
Familiarity with tax regulations and government accounting standards is a plus.
