Full Job Description

Job Summary

MountIQ Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support material planning, purchasing, inventory management, supplier performance, and production scheduling for our printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and cable-harness manufacturing operations.

This position analyzes purchasing, inventory, demand, cost, and supplier data to identify shortages, reduce excess inventory, improve on-time delivery, and support production requirements. The ideal candidate has strong Excel and ERP skills and understands bills of material, electronic components, manufacturing lead times, and supply-chain risks.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze customer demand, production schedules, inventory, open purchase orders, and material requirements.
Review bills of material and identify shortages, excess inventory, long-lead-time components, and obsolete parts.
Prepare shortage reports, purchasing recommendations, supplier scorecards, and management reports.
Monitor open purchase orders and work with suppliers to resolve late deliveries, quantity discrepancies, and pricing issues.
Analyze supplier performance, including on-time delivery, product quality, responsiveness, corrective actions, and lead-time accuracy.
Support purchasing activities by obtaining quotations and comparing price, availability, lead time, minimum order quantities, and supplier risk.
Research electronic component availability, authorized sources, lifecycle status, and potential alternate parts.
Help prevent counterfeit parts by supporting approved-supplier and authorized-distributor purchasing controls.
Maintain accurate supplier, purchasing, inventory, lead-time, and cost information in the ERP/MRP system.
Analyze purchase-price variance, material usage, inventory turns, excess and obsolete inventory, and supplier trends.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Program Management to resolve material constraints.
Assist with supplier evaluations, approvals, performance reviews, and corrective-action follow-up.
Verify applicable drawings, specifications, quality clauses, certifications, and customer requirements are communicated to suppliers.
Support AS9100D, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, customer, and regulatory supply-chain requirements as applicable.
Identify supply-chain risks and recommend mitigation plans, including alternate sources, safety stock, expedited orders, and schedule adjustments.
Support physical inventory, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and root-cause investigation of discrepancies.
Create and maintain supply-chain dashboards, key performance indicators, and recurring reports.
Participate in continuous-improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Perform other supply-chain and purchasing duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in supply-chain analysis, purchasing, material planning, inventory control, or manufacturing.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
Experience using an ERP or MRP system.
Ability to analyze bills of material, inventory records, purchase orders, forecasts, and production requirements.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, SMT, cable-harness assembly, or contract manufacturing.
Knowledge of electronic components, manufacturer part numbers, authorized distributors, and component lifecycle risks.
Experience with material requirements planning, demand planning, procurement, or production scheduling.
Familiarity with AS9100D, ISO 9001, or ISO 13485.
Understanding of supplier flow-down requirements, traceability, counterfeit-parts prevention, and supplier risk management.
Experience with Cetec ERP or a similar manufacturing ERP system.
Experience creating dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, finance, engineering, or a related field.
