Full Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive, versatile, and reliable Hotel Accounts Payable to help us amplify and maximize the HiBird experience.

The Accounts Payable & Payroll will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall financial success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and other forms of payment, while maintaining proper documentation.
Monitor and manage outstanding payables, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including accounts payable processes and procedures.
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, with advanced proficiency in Excel, and ADP.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work accurately within deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
