Job Overview

Maverick Aerospace LLC is a world-class manufacturer of components and assemblies for the aerospace and defense industries. Currently our facility is 165,000 square feet and all bays are crane served. Our machine list is comprehensive and well suited to a variety of products, from the simplest 3-axis part to extremely complex 4 and 5-axis parts from various materials including aluminum alloys, brass, steels, titanium, and plastics. Our NC Programming department is staffed with an experienced and capable team, allowing us to tackle the most complex parts with various geometries.

Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for customer communication, contract management, coordination of invoicing, fulfillment of contract requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. The Contracts Manager will work closely with Sales, Program Management and Chief Financial Officer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Ensures compliance with all contract terms and conditions collaborates with customers to ensure that contract terms are fair.

· Reviews RFP terms, conditions, and standard work requirements.

· Partner with cross functional team members to develop creative solutions and resolve contractual matters.

· Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships and influence business decisions.

· Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope.

· Negotiate complex contractual terms with billing, completion and start of job order.

· Monitors status and delivery performance of all active contracts.

· Ensure proper processing of all required import/export license applications and administers all issued licenses.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.

· 5 years previous experience preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

· Experience with administration and negotiation of proposals and contracts.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and attention to detail.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $150,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

This role involves access to technical data subject to U.S export control laws and regulations under the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR). As required employment is contingent upon verification of a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R 120.15 is required.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
